photo website (Picture donations of creators or events are accepted also.)

To apply, contact my e-mail at this address. An example of your work would be appreciated as well as your basic characteristics (name, age, etc.) Don't forget to mention which position you're applying for.
The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund was founded in 1986 as a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of First Amendment rights for members of the comics community. ACTOR, A Commitment To Our Roots, is the first ever federally chartered not-for-profit corporation dedicated strictly to helping comic book creators in need.

Diverging Comics Giant Year-Ender (Part Two)
"My book of the year has to be the ridiculously under-rated NYC Mech from Image. After six issues, statistically, I should’ve found something - no matter how minute - about this series that irked me… yet, here I am, enjoying it more with every issue."

Interviews

Ronin, Re-imaginings and Relocating: An Interview with Jeff Amano

Diverging Comics: Independent Creator Round-table (Part One)
"How do you handle that rejection, though? Being a "small-time" creator must be a little depressing a times. You don't have the support of a large corperation like Marvel/DC"

Book spotlight: Box Office Poison: More Box Office Posion
"Alex Robison’s art is clean, with attractive character designs. Everything has a slight cartooning influence, which serves to make the characters a little more expressive, but nothing looks unrealistic. "

Reviews

Duty Must Be Done: The Story of Frederick Banting
"Tamblyn does a great job of presenting the entire life of Banting, not just the one accomplishment he is known for. A lot of the time books such as these focus on the events, but not the person."

Some Other Day
"I recently re-watched Alfred Hitchcock's THE BIRDS the other night with my friend Jason. I hadn't seen it since I was quite young, but I remembered it as having been one of my top-ten favourite movies as a kid. "

Jason Lutes' A Jar of Fools
"There are no Earth shattering battles in this book, but it packs a punch that can not be ignored. I was surprised at how much these characters, just ordinary people with not so incredible problems, were able to touch me."

Carnet De Voyage OGN
"Craig Thompson -- the award-winning creator of Blankets and Good-bye, Chunky Rice -- spent three months traveling through Barcelona, the Alps, and France, as well as Morocco, where he was researching his next graphic novel, Habibi.”
